Educational Qualification for IMTECH:
| 1. Junior Hindi Translator – Essential Qualification: 1. A master’s degree in Hindi from an accredited university with English as a required or elective subject or as the language of examination at the degree level; OR A master’s degree in English with Hindi as a required or elective course, or as the language of examination at the degree level, from an accredited university; OR Master’s degree from an accredited university in a field other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as the primary language and English as an elective or required course or as the language of a degree-level test; OR A master’s degree in any field other than Hindi or English from an accredited university, with any of the two serving as the medium of examination and the other as a required or elective subject at the degree level, or both Hindi and English as mandatory or elective subjects; OR a master’s degree in any field other than Hindi or English from an accredited university, with either Hindi or English serving as a mandatory or elective subject at the degree level, or both as a medium of examination; AND 2. Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa OR two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government or State Government office, including Government of India UndertakingGovernment job opportunities .Desirable Qualifications: 1. Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of a recognized Board or equivalent of one of the languages other than Hindi mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. 2. | 2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen./ F&A/ S&P) – 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi typewriting and in utilizing computers in accordance with the guidelines that DoPT periodically establishes. |
| 3. Junior Stenographer – 10+2/XII or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time. |
