Educational Qualification for TFRI:
| 1. Technical Assistant – Graduate Degree in Science with Forestry /Biotechnology/ Chemistry/Botany/ Zoology/ Agriculture /Environmental Science/Statistics (as one of the subjects) from an Accredited University. |
| 2. Forest Guard – -12th Class pass with Science from a Government Accredited Board. – During the probationary period, the nominee must successfully complete a forestry training course from an accredited Forest Guard training facility. |
| 3. Driver – Essential: – (i) Matriculation/10th from Accredited board. (ii) Having a current driver’s license for motor vehicles. (iii) Three years or more of experience behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. Desirable: familiarity with motor mechanisms (the candidate should be able to fix minor car problems). |
